Our Story
Jenish Kabturwala grew up admiring handloom long before she understood craft—watching her mother drape sarees with patience, ritual, and quiet grace. Those early memories became the foundation of Jivannti.
Raised in a middle-class family, her journey moved through resilience—studying abroad, working long hours to support herself, and eventually returning to India with a deeper understanding of value, time, and heritage. Inspired by her mother’s legacy in Bandhani and handloom, Jenish founded Jivannti as a continuation—honouring Indian artisans, preserving handmade traditions, and creating pieces meant to be carried through generations. For her, Jivannti is not simply about textiles. It is about memory, continuity, and craft as something lifegiving.
